Bad Vibes Forever marks the fourth and final studio album from the late XXXTentacion. Released in 2018 as a collector’s limited-edition vinyl LP, this posthumous release serves as the definitive closing chapter to the artist's polarizing and meteoric career. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, moving approximately 65,000 copies in its first week.
This ambitious project showcases X’s genre-blurring style, drawing influences from SoundCloud rap, emo, and even country. The record is notable for its massive list of high-profile collaborators, featuring an array of industry heavyweights including:
- Lil Wayne (featured on "School Shooters")
- Trippie Redd & PnB Rock (featured on the title track "bad vibes forever")
- Rick Ross, Joey Bada$$, and blink-182
- Ky-Mani Marley, Stefflon Don, & Vybz Kartel (featured on "Royalty")
While the album was met with a complex critical reception—with publications like Pitchfork noting its expansive feature list and SputnikMusic highlighting its role as a final farewell—it remains a significant piece of modern hip-hop history. For fans and collectors, this vinyl edition captures the raw, unfinished, and experimental energy that defined XXXTentacion’s legacy.
