UB40 – Homegrown is the sixteenth studio album from the legendary English reggae outfit, originally released in November 2003 via DEP International and Virgin Records. Recorded at their own DEP International Studios in Birmingham, Homegrown marks a significant moment in the band's discography, described by founding member Robin Campbell as an "old-fashioned UB40 record" that successfully bridges the gap between smooth love songs and poignant political commentary.
The album features a blend of classic reggae-pop rhythms and programmed electronics, a direction that AllMusic praised as a "return to form" for the group. It successfully avoids contemporary traps by leaning into the high-energy political tracks and melodic charm that made the band global icons. Homegrown is perhaps best known for containing the track "Swing Low," a collaboration with United Colours of Sound that served as the Official Anthem for the England Rugby World Cup team.
