Experience a peak moment in German dance history with the 2013 remastered edition of Mind The Gap by Scooter. Originally released as the band's tenth studio album, this "20 Years of Hardcore" expanded release from Sheffield Tunes is a definitive celebration of the group's high-energy, "kitschariffic" hard dance style. Critically acclaimed by AllMusic as one of their most well-rounded and fun albums, it seamlessly blends frantic rave energy with atmospheric trance and unexpected pop sensibilities.
This Limited Edition Double CD set includes the remastered studio album alongside a bonus live disc, capturing the raw power of Scooter’s stage presence. From massive chart-topping singles to deep cut covers, the album showcases the group’s versatility and knack for unforgettable hooks.
Key Highlights:
- Chart-Topping Hits: Features the massive singles "Jigga Jigga!", "Shake That!" (sampling KC & the Sunshine Band), and the rave anthem "One (Always Hardcore)."
- Eclectic Covers: Highlights include a high-energy take on Elvis Crespo’s "Suavemente," a synth-driven version of Depeche Mode’s "Stripped," and the cheeky Tuxedomoon-inspired "My Eyes Are Dry."
- Epic Production: Includes "Trance-Atlantic," an expansive, seven-minute atmospheric trance journey.
- Deluxe Format: Remastered audio across two discs, including a live compilation for the ultimate hardcore fan experience.
Whether you are a lifelong fan or a newcomer to the Hard Dance and Trance scene, Mind The Gap remains an essential, high-octane masterpiece of electronic music.
