Queens of the Stone Age – Era Vulgaris marks the band's fifth studio album, originally released via Interscope Records in 2007. Known for its distinct departure from previous records, Era Vulgaris showcases the band's relentless sonic evolution, described by AllMusic as being as different from *Lullabies to Paralyze* as that album was to their landmark release *Songs for the Deaf*.
The album remains a polarizing but essential chapter in the band's discography. While it drew varied critical reactions, it has garnered a loyal following, with many fans citing tracks like "3's & 7's" and "Suture Up Your Future" as career highlights. Whether you are a long-time collector or discovering the band’s darker, grit-filled sound for the first time, this record is a quintessential piece of the QOTSA legacy.
