Experience early Fleetwood Mac at the peak of their improvisational blues-rock prowess with Live in Boston – Volume Two. Captured during their legendary 1970 stand at the Boston Tea Party, this remastered 1999 Snapper Music edition was assembled using first-generation source tapes, restoring the original performance running order and stage banter from the band's celebrated three-guitar lineup.
Driven by the rhythm section of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, the set captures the blistering guitar interplay of Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, and Jeremy Spencer.
Key Highlights:
- "World in Harmony" – The set-opening gem and the only Peter Green/Danny Kirwan co-composition in the catalog, never released on a studio album.
- "Rattlesnake Shake" – An expansive, half-hour jam showcasing transcendent, spontaneous guitar dueling that rivals the era's finest live improvisers.
- "Oh Well" – An abbreviated, hard-driving take on the band's signature classic.
- "Stranger Blues" & "Red Hot Mama" – Fiery, high-energy Elmore James blues covers driven by Jeremy Spencer's searing slide work.
An essential piece of British blues-rock history, this remastered release is a must-have for classic rock enthusiasts and Fleetwood Mac collectors alike.
