Big Black Delta delivers a bold sonic journey with Trágame Tierra, the second studio album from American musician Jonathan Bates. Released in April 2016 on his own Masters of Bates imprint, the self-funded record represents Bates breaking free from conventional music limitations to produce his most honest, refreshing, and ecstatic electronic work to date.
Blending walls of heavy synthesizers with vibrant dance rhythms and experimental pop mastery, the album channels retro energy with modern indie-electronic punch.
Key Tracks & Highlights:
- "RCVR" – A massive, wall-of-sound '80s pop track featuring guest vocals from pop icon Debbie Gibson.
- "Kid Icarus" – An undeniable standout driving the album's electronic core.
- "Well My Heart" & "It's OK" – Euphoric tracks propelled by fast synth basslines and vintage new-wave grooves.
- "Bitten by the Apple" – A slower, atmospheric track loaded with heavy synths.
Available now on Audio CD, Trágame Tierra is a must-have for fans of boundary-pushing synth-pop and electronic dance music.
