Originally released in 1992 on Dali Records, Shimmering, Warm & Bright is the critically acclaimed third studio album from Norwegian outfit Bel Canto. Produced in Oslo by core members Anneli Drecker and Nils, this pivotal release expanded the band's sonic landscape beyond their earlier 4AD-influenced roots, embracing an otherworldly blend of dream pop, synth-pop, ethereal atmospheres, and exotic instrumentation.
Widely considered one of the group's definitive works, the album earned gold status in Norway and introduced their music to an international audience.
