Released in 2015 via Inside Out Music, +4626 – Comfortzone is the eighth studio album from Swedish progressive rock outfit Beardfish. Refining the heavier tendencies of their previous record, The Void, this album showcases the quartet operating at peak maturity, bridging vintage progressive rock sensibilities with a sleek, modern edge.
Led by frontman Rikard Sjöblom and guitarist David Zackrisson, Beardfish deliver cerebral, adventurous rock loaded with complex time changes, left-field lyrics, and intricate harmonies. Echoing stylistic nods to legends like King Crimson and Yes while retaining their own distinctive identity, the record balances top-notch musicianship with memorable, purposeful songwriting.
