Arsonists Get All The Girls return with their fourth studio album, Motherland, released in 2011 via Century Media Records. Recorded at Castle Ultimate studios with renowned producer Zack Ohren (As Blood Runs Black, All Shall Perish), this release represents a definitive evolution for the Santa Cruz-based outfit. Moving beyond the chaos of their earlier work, Motherland delivers a more focused and mature take on their signature progressive deathcore sound.
The album seamlessly blends experimental grind, progressive rock influences, and death metal heaviness. Critics have lauded its creativity, with the record earning a 5.0-star rating on RateYourMusic and a 4.0 "Excellent" score from Sputnikmusic. Whether you are a long-time fan or new to the genre, Motherland stands out for its "metric shit-ton" of styles and technical proficiency that separates the group from their peers.
