Arcade Fire returns with their ambitious fifth studio album, Everything Now. Released in 2017 via the band’s vanity label, Sonovox Records, this 13-track limited edition CD captures a pivotal moment in the band's evolution as they transition toward a more "digestible" sound influenced by synth-pop, dance-rock, and electronic music.
The album’s production features a powerhouse lineup of collaborators, including Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), Steve Mackey (Pulp), and Geoff Barrow (Portishead), alongside frequent collaborator Markus Dravs. Together, they create a sonic landscape that balances breezy, exhilarated melodies with a sharp social critique of consumerism and digital-age existentialism.
Featured Tracks & Highlights:
- Includes the hit singles "Everything Now," "Creature Comfort," and "Electric Blue."
- Features standout deeper cuts like "Put Your Money on Me" and "Signs of Life."
- Explores diverse genres, from the punk-inflected "Infinite Content" to the new-wave grooves of "Good God Damn."
Housed in a premium format, this release is a must-have for collectors. Experience the record that The New York Times described as finding a balance between "earnestness and exhilaration."
