Experience the definitive era of Fall Out Boy with the 2016 reissue of their monumental third studio album, Infinity on High. Following the massive success of From Under the Cork Tree, this record capturing a band at the peak of their creative powers, fearlessly expanding their signature pop-punk sound.
Infinity on High showcases a significant jump in songwriting maturity and technical ambition. Patrick Stump delivers a truly realized vocal performance, while the band incorporates sophisticated new textures, including brass arrangements, piano ballads, and electronic influences. Whether it's the funky, brass-infused hit "This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race" or the introspective piano-driven "Golden," the album balances massive, infectious hooks with organic, natural instrumentation.
Key Highlights:
- Expanded Sound: Features a diverse range of instrumentation, from soul-inspired beats to raw piano solos.
- Fan-Favorite Tracks: Includes the timeless anthem "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" and standout rockers like "Hum Hallelujah."
- A Band Fully Realized: A confident departure from their earlier work, exploring new emotional depth and lyrical perspectives.
An essential addition to any collection, Infinity on High remains the benchmark for the band’s career—a bold, genre-bending record that proved Fall Out Boy was far more than a typical pop-punk act.
