Originally released in 1989 on the I.R.S. label, Here to Hear represents a significant milestone in the storied career of Wishbone Ash. Featuring the reunion of the band's classic lineup, the album showcases a sophisticated blend of hard rock and progressive influences, primarily driven by the songwriting of Ted and Martin Turner.
Critically acclaimed for its high production values and tight performances, this release finds the band evolving their signature twin-lead guitar sound with the addition of atmospheric keyboards. It is widely considered one of the most sought-after titles in the Wishbone Ash discography, bridging the gap between their 70s legacy and a more polished, contemporary rock sound.
