Capture a defining moment of 90s cinema with this classic 1994 CD single release of Urge Overkill’s haunting cover of “Girl, You’ll Be A Woman Soon.” Originally featured on the band's 1992 Stull EP, the track gained legendary status after being hand-picked by Quentin Tarantino for a pivotal, iconic scene in Pulp Fiction.
Urge Overkill’s rendition stays true to the Neil Diamond original while adding a unique, rougher edge through Kato’s distinct vocal performance, backed by evocative piano, acoustic textures, and percussion. This essential collectors' item offers more than just the A-side; it connects fans of both the band and the cult-classic film soundtrack.
Key Highlights:
- Featuring: The definitive version of "Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon."
- Collector's Bonus: Includes The Tornadoes’ surf-rock classic “Bustin’ Surfboards,” also featured in Pulp Fiction.
- Significance: A crucial piece of 90s alternative rock history that bridged the gap between indie-rock credibility and mainstream pop success.
Whether you're an Urge Overkill completist or a fan of the Pulp Fiction legacy, this CD single is a must-have addition to your collection.
