Experience Type O Negative's monumental album Dead Again, available in this 2024 vinyl reissue. Celebrated as one of the band's heaviest releases, the album delivers upfront, hard-hitting doom riffs without losing the signature melodic diversity and dark humor fans love.
The record showcases the late Peter Steele's dynamic vocal range—effortlessly shifting between raw punk barks and his unmistakable, deep gothic cleans—layered over Josh Silver's atmospheric keyboard and organ work, accompanied by raw, raspy guitars and classic Black Sabbath-inspired grooves.
Track Highlights:
- "Dead Again" – A frenetic, fast-paced jolt of aggressive self-loathing.
- "September Sun" – A multi-faceted epic featuring a haunting piano intro.
- "Tripping A Blind Man" – A masterclass in slow, creeping doom riffs.
- "These Three Things" – An expansive, dirge-like track with a somber, melancholic finish.
An essential addition to any gothic and doom metal collection, Dead Again remains a towering piece of Type O Negative's discography.
