Experience one of the definitive statements of the late '70s British punk and post-punk era with The Stranglers' acclaimed second album, No More Heroes, available on this classic EMI CD reissue. Riding the punk wave with razor-sharp style and fearless irreverence, the band delivered an unfiltered sound driven by distinctive organ work, unique vocal delivery, and infectious pop hooks.
Hailed by contemporary critics as an improvement over their debut (Rattus Norvegicus) and described by Trouser Press as easily the band's best album, No More Heroes pulls no punches across its hard-hitting tracklist. Key tracks include the poignant tribute "Dagenham Dave," the satirical "I Feel Like a Wog," and "Bring on the Nubiles."
