Capture one of the most turbulent and infamous chapters in hip-hop history with Ol' Dirty Bastard’s 2002 album, The Trials and Tribulations of Russell Jones. Released via D3 Entertainment while the Wu-Tang Clan icon was serving prison time, this CD compiles material reportedly recorded during his fugitive period in late 2000.
A raw, chaotic snapshot of ODB's notorious outlaw era, the album showcases Dirt McGirt’s signature unhinged lyrical delivery alongside candid spoken ramblings. To bolster the project, the release brings together an unexpected roster of prominent guest contributors across the rap spectrum.
