Foals – Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost: Part 1 represents a pivotal milestone for the British outfit, released via Warner Bros. Records in 2019. This CD edition presents the album in crisp stereo, capturing the band at the height of their creative evolution. As a definitive "Part 1" of their ambitious double-album project, this release showcases the intricate layering and atmospheric production that have become the band's hallmark.
The album is often cited alongside other major indie innovators, drawing comparisons in contemporary music circles to the "math-infused indie" and "Total Life Forever" era sounds that defined the band's earlier breakthrough. It serves as a bridge between their signature guitar-driven energy and deeper, more experimental textures.
