Experience the definitive era of Faith No More with this 2008 Rhino Records 2-CD reissue set, featuring two of the most influential rock and metal albums of the late '80s and early '90s: The Real Thing and Angel Dust.
While the platinum-certified The Real Thing introduced the world to the band's genre-bending energy, 1992's Angel Dust stands as an iconoclastic, experimental masterpiece. Marked by vocalist Mike Patton’s significant compositional contributions, Angel Dust showcases an astonishing vocal range—seamlessly shifting between death growls, rap cadences, screams, and smooth, soulful crooning over tight riffs, atmospheric synths, and Mike Bordin's powerful drumming.
Album Highlights:
- Two Classic Albums in One Package: Essential listening covering Faith No More's commercial breakthrough and critically acclaimed artistic peak.
- Key Tracks: Includes standout cuts such as "Land of Sunshine," "Caffeine," "A Small Victory," "Jizzlobber," "Crack Hitler," and their hit rendition of "Easy."
- Genre-Defying Sound: Masterfully engineered rock and metal produced by Matt Wallace, balancing grotesque intensity with melodic beauty.
