Experience the euphoric soundscape of Ice on the Dune, the acclaimed second studio album from Australian electronic duo Empire of the Sun.
Released in 2013 by Capitol Records, this album finds "Emperor" Luke Steele and "Lord" Nick Littlemore at the height of their creative powers. Ice on the Dune expands upon the group’s signature sound, blending disco, infectious electropop, and meticulously crafted synth arrangements to create a modern pop masterpiece. The record is defined by its wide-eyed optimism, featuring super-sharp choruses and icy-cold electronic beats that feel both cinematic and irresistibly danceable.
Whether you are captivated by their breathtaking, alien-inspired aesthetic or their talent for writing communal, feel-good anthems, this album stands as a testament to the duo's ability to "go alien" while keeping the dancefloor alive.
