Experience a legendary moment in progressive metal history with this special edition release of Dream Theater’s live cover performance of Iron Maiden’s seminal masterpiece, The Number of the Beast.
Recorded live on October 24, 2002, at the intimate La Mutualite club in Paris, France, this performance captures the virtuosos of Dream Theater paying homage to one of the greatest metal albums of all time. Originally part of a short European club tour where the band performed classic albums in their entirety, this recording documents an electric night that would eventually influence the heavier, more song-oriented direction of their subsequent studio work, including the acclaimed Train of Thought.
Key Features:
- Authentic Performance: A faithful, high-energy, track-for-track recreation of Iron Maiden’s 1982 classic.
- Historical Context: Features a setlist that showcases Dream Theater at a pivotal creative juncture in their career.
- Special Edition: Remastered for optimal sound quality, capturing the enthusiasm of the Paris crowd and the band's technical prowess.
Perfect for fans of progressive metal and classic heavy metal, this release is an essential document of a unique live collaboration between metal titans.
