Hailing from Angers, France, thrash metal trio Bellator delivers pure, unadulterated aggression with their 2017 mini-album EP, I, released via M.U.S.I.C. Records. Stripping away artificial elements in favor of a raw, old-school assault, the band combines the velocity of speed metal with crushing thrash and heavy groove.
Across six hard-hitting tracks, the power trio—featuring Tørick (lead vocals, guitars), Nomis (bass, backing vocals), and Wilk (drums)—delivers tight musicianship tailored for circle pits and walls of death. From the blistering riffs of the opener "Fromlor Agard" and the punchy groove of "Padnom" to standout cuts like the ferocious "Petit Orc" and the bass-heavy anthem "Bellator," this EP is an essential pickup for fans of aggressive, straightforward metal.
