Experience the resurgence of melodic thrash with Armortura’s self-titled debut. Released via the renowned Danish label Mighty Music in 2018, this album is a masterclass in technical, high-energy metal that pays homage to the legends while carving out its own distinct identity.
Drawing stylistic inspiration from the golden era of Megadeth, Death Angel, and Annihilator, Armortura delivers a tight, professional sound characterized by harmonic guitar work and driving rhythms. Recorded and mastered at Stymphalian Productions in England, the album showcases the formidable talents of guitarists Adam Ironside and Paul Trotter, backed by the powerful vocals of Philip "Sad" Brown. From the blistering lead single "Hellbound" to the crushing "Zodiac," the band maintains a high technical standard without sacrificing melody.
A true highlight for thrash purists, the album includes a bonus remix of "11th Hour" featuring a guest guitar solo from Jeff Waters of Annihilator. Whether you are a fan of classic bay-area thrash or modern technical metal, Armortura is an essential addition to any serious CD collection.
