Rediscover one of the defining global hits of the 1990s with this 1993 CD single release of UB40’s "(I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You", issued via DEP International. British reggae pioneers UB40 brilliantly reimagined Elvis Presley’s 1961 classic ballad into an infectious, midtempo reggae-fusion and dance-pop anthem powered by lush island beats and bright, brassy horns.
Serving as the lead single from the band's tenth studio album Promises and Lies and featured on the motion picture soundtrack for Sliver, the track became a monumental international success. It climbed to No. 1 across the globe, holding the top spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and topping charts in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
