Released in 2012 via End of the Light Records, Les Fleurs Du Mal represents one of the most daring and inventive chapters in the extensive catalog of Swedish symphonic metal pioneers Therion. Conceptually framed around the decadence of Charles Baudelaire’s legendary poetry collection, the album presents a full-length collection of classic French pop songs reimagined through Therion's signature symphonic rock and metal style.
Departing from conventional doom and epic metal tropes, this release showcases an upbeat, theatrical, and highly entertaining sound.
