Experience a defining moment in Contemporary Christian Music history with The Archers – 2nd Time Around. Released in 1992 by Diadem Music, this essential compilation marks a significant milestone as the first-ever CD release of the trio’s iconic material originally recorded for Light Records.
Capturing the group’s breakthrough period in the early 1970s, this collection showcases the melodic pop-rock sound and sophisticated vocal blends that made The Archers pioneers of the genre. Listeners will appreciate the polished production and lush harmonies, all preserved with surprisingly clean digital fidelity through careful remastering.
Featured highlights include:
- "Fresh Surrender" – A quintessential staple of their early catalog.
- "Sooner or Later" – Showcasing their signature harmony-rich arrangements.
- Authentic era-specific textures, including characteristic vintage synth sounds.
Whether you are a longtime fan looking to replace your worn vinyl or a new listener exploring the roots of CCM, 2nd Time Around serves as both a nostalgic snapshot and a high-quality entry point into the group’s most influential era.
