Experience the raw, unfiltered power of the undisputed Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Released in 2019 via Steamhammer, No Control marks a triumphant milestone in Suzi Quatro’s legendary career. Far from a manufactured studio product, this album is a deeply personal "rock ‘n’ roll manifesto" crafted in collaboration with her son. It serves as a musical roadmap of Quatro’s journey—from her roots in the fifties to dominating the 70s glam-rock scene.
Musically, the album captures Quatro doing what she does best: making music on her own terms. Listeners can expect a seamless blend of maturity and playfulness, anchored by the same "punky swagger" and big guitar energy that influenced generations of female rockers from The Runaways to PJ Harvey.
Key Highlights:- "No Soul-No Control": A high-energy opening track featuring full-on guitar and a classic punk-rock attitude.
- A Modern Classic: Critics describe the sound as Quatro channeling the spirit of Chuck Berry through her own unique, soulful lens.
- Genuine Partnership: Written and recorded with her son, providing a cohesive and "real" creative perspective.
Whether you are a lifelong "glam obsessive" or a newcomer to her back catalog, No Control proves that Suzi Quatro remains a vital force in rock music. Add this essential 2019 CD release to your collection today.
