Static-X – Project: Regeneration Vol. 1
Released on July 10, 2020, via Otsego Entertainment Group, Project: Regeneration Vol. 1 marks a monumental return for industrial metal pioneers Static-X. As the band's first studio album in eleven years, this record serves as a powerful, bittersweet tribute to the life and legacy of founding frontman Wayne Static.
Constructed from rare final recordings and demos, the album reunites original members Tony Campos, Koichi Fukuda, and Ken Jay. With longtime producer Ulrich Wild at the helm, the band seamlessly integrates these archives with new performances from frontman "Xer0," creating a sound that rings true to the band's core while pushing creative boundaries.
Critics have lauded the album as a "labor of love," noting its evolution between the classic industrialism of Wisconsin Death Trip and the modern alt-metal stylings of their later work.
Key Features:
- Genre: Industrial Metal / Nu Metal
- Legacy: Features the final vocal recordings of Wayne Static.
- Production: Returning original lineup produced by Ulrich Wild.
- Standout Tracks: Includes the powerful singles "Hollow (Project Regeneration)" and "All These Years."
Whether you're a lifelong fan or a newcomer to the "Evil Disco" movement, Project: Regeneration Vol. 1 is a definitive addition to your metal collection.
