Experience the definitive anthem of the "New Wave of Thrash Metal."
Originally released in 2007 on the legendary Earache Records, The Art of Partying is widely considered the album that crowned Richmond, Virginia’s Municipal Waste as the undisputed kings of the party thrash genre. Blending the high-speed aggression of 80s thrash with the raw, punky energy of crossover pioneers like D.R.I. and Suicidal Tendencies, this record injected a much-needed sense of fun and youthful energy back into the metal scene.
This limited edition CD release captures the band at their peak, delivering a relentless assault of circle-pit-ready riffs and neck-snapping rhythms. The album was a critical powerhouse upon its debut, securing top spots on "Album of the Year" polls from Terrorizer, Rock Hard, and Big Cheese.
Key Tracks:
- "Headbanger Face Rip"
- "Sadistic Magician"
- "I Just Wanna Rock"
Whether you are a veteran thrasher or a newcomer to the crossover sound, The Art of Partying is an essential cornerstone for any collection. Grab your copy, hit the pit, and learn exactly why Municipal Waste is the gold standard for modern thrash.
