Man The Machetes – Idiokrati represents a powerhouse debut from one of Norway’s most exciting emerging acts. Recorded in Toronto with renowned producer Eric Ratz (Billy Talent, Cancer Bats, Comeback Kid), this album is the culmination of two years of intense creative focus, blending metal, punk, and hardcore into a high-octane sonic experience.
Following their rise from small Norwegian venues to major festival stages like Pstereo and Hove, the band delivers a record that is as uncompromising as it is infectious. With relentless pacing, searing guitar work from the duo of Erlend N. Sætern and Morten D. Carlsson, and the raw, guttural intensity of vocalist Christopher Iversen, Idiokrati is a relentless party from start to finish.
Key Highlights:
- Dynamic Sound: A seamless blend of hardcore aggression and irresistible melodic hooks.
- Standout Tracks: Experience the "celtic" grooves of Deltidsidiot, the atmospheric power of Mageplask, and the punishing energy of Hjemkomst.
- Authentic Intensity: A "brawl of a band" delivering raw, primal energy that cements their status as a force to be reckoned with in the scene.
Perfect for fans of Kvelertak and high-energy punk rock, Idiokrati is an essential addition for those seeking music that pushes boundaries and demands attention.
