Dive into a bold new era with Hollywood Undead’s sixth studio album, New Empire, Vol. 1. Released in 2020 via BMG, this record marks a significant reimagining of the band's iconic sound. Produced by Matt Good, the album successfully bridges the brand's rap-rock roots with fresh, melodic sensibilities and heavy, high-energy instrumentation.
From the full-throttle intensity of tracks like "Already Dead" and "Time Bomb" to the standout collaboration "Upside Down" featuring Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens, the album showcases a diverse range of styles. Whether it’s the swagger-filled rap of "Killin’ It" or the dramatic, powerful finale of "Nightmare," New Empire, Vol. 1 delivers a collection that satisfies long-time fans while drawing in new listeners with its refined production and deeper lyrical themes.
