Experience the raw power of Danzig at their peak with Thrall-Demonsweatlive. Originally released in 1993 on Def American Recordings, this Gold-certified EP is an essential bridge between the band’s classic early era and the evolution of 90s heavy metal. This 1995 CD reissue captures the dark, blues-infused energy that solidified Glenn Danzig as a heavy metal icon.
The EP is split into two visceral sections:
- Thrall: Features three studio tracks recorded live in a single day, including a haunting cover of the Elvis Presley classic, "Trouble."
- Demonsweatlive: Captures four explosive live recordings from the band’s legendary Halloween 1992 performance at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater.
True collectors will appreciate the striking visual presentation, featuring iconic cover art by renowned illustrator Simon Bisley. This release is also famous for its hidden gem: a remixed studio version of the smash hit "Mother '93," tucked away at track 93. Whether you are a longtime follower of the original lineup or a newcomer to the "Evil Elvis" sound, Thrall-Demonsweatlive is a must-own piece of Danzig history.
