CD Chickenfoot – III

Chickenfoot III marks the triumphant return of the rock supergroup—Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony, and Chad Smith. Cleverly bypassing the "difficult second album" syndrome by skipping directly to title III, this 2011 release cements the band’s reputation as a cohesive creative unit rather than just a collection of egos. This Classic Rock Limited Edition Collector’s Pack features unique 3D packaging and immersive artwork that brings the experience to life.

Musically, the album offers a more well-rounded and melodic evolution from their debut. Joe Satriani balances his legendary "shred master" technicality with soulful restraint, while Michael Anthony’s underrated bass lines and signature backing vocals provide the perfect bedrock for Hagar’s powerful delivery. From the stomp of the lead single "Big Foot" to the "Van Hagar" era vibes of "Different Devil," the album explores diverse sonic territories including blues-rock, alt-country, and hard-hitting social commentary.

• Big Foot: A bottom-heavy, classic rock stomp inspired by the energy of Montrose and Van Halen.
• Three and a Half Letters: A poignant, gritty track featuring lyrics taken from letters sent by struggling fans.
• Different Devil: A melodic, "top-down" anthem with infectious hooks.
• Alright Alright: A high-energy party rocker that showcases the band's chemistry.
• Something Going Wrong: An eerie, technical masterpiece blending delta blues and southern rock.

For the serious collector, this Limited Edition release is a must-have, proving that Chickenfoot is a genuine force in modern Classic Rock.
