Legendary progressive rock pioneers Atomic Rooster make a momentous return with Circle The Sun, released via Esoteric Antenna. Marking the band's first full collection of new studio material in over four decades, this 2025 album dives headlong into dark, gothic-tinged heavy progressive rock.
Led by Steve “Boltz” Bolton (guitar/vocals) and fronted by Adrian Gautrey (keyboards/vocals), alongside Shugg Millidge (bass) and Paul Everett (drums), the lineup channels the spirit of their early 1970s proto-metal masterpiece Death Walks Behind You while introducing contemporary sonic textures. Across ten atmospheric tracks, the band delivers a powerhouse blend of thunderous riffs, haunting Hammond organ, and bold rhythmic dynamism.
