Own a piece of electronic music history with the definitive 1999 single "9pm (Till I Come)" by ATB. Released on Ministry of Sound, this track is a bona fide club classic that defined the late 90s Ibiza trance sound and shot to the top of the UK charts.
Behind this chart-topping anthem lies a fascinating origin story: the iconic, pitch-bent guitar hook was accidentally improvised by André Tanneberger (ATB) while he was showing off his studio to a date. By pairing that serendipitous melody with a soulful vocal sample, ATB created a timeless track that remains one of the most recognizable hooks in dance music history.
Key Highlights:
- Chart Success: A global sensation that reached number one in the UK and top-ten charts worldwide.
- Iconic Sound: Features the legendary, genre-defining trance aesthetic, complete with massive synth breakdowns and crescendos.
- Essential Collectible: This single captures the exact moment ATB transitioned from an emerging producer to a dance music icon.
Whether you are a longtime fan of the era or a collector of electronic essentials, this CD single is a vital addition to any music library.
